Abstract in English
Through access to quality education, it promotes individuals as active in civic, humanistic, cultural, economic and productive spheres. Thus, education contributes to the formation of a productive society, enhances the effects of globalization, promotes social and economic progress and provides the necessary conditions for the exercise of citizenship and mutual respect. The objective of this research is to list administrative-pedagogical practices that positively affect the performance in mathematics of elementary school II students from municipal public schools. To this end, the work relies on the application of the methodology proposed by Salgado Junior and Novi (2015), which consists of two stages, one being quantitative and the other qualitative. In the quantitative stage, a DEA model is used in order to classify municipal public schools of the same socioeconomic level in terms of their ability to increase students' performance in mathematics learning. In the qualitative stage, after having listed the schools of interest, interviews are carried out with them in order to understand in depth their administrative-pedagogical practices, trying, later, to list factors that affect school performance. After the cuts were made, 2,236 schools were listed. After carrying out the survey of schools, it was sought through the analysis of Quartile and Multiple Linear Regression to identify from 1440 variables from the Prova Brasil questionnaire which practices were carried out by the schools listed as efficient in the previous stage. Thus, 150 variables were obtained and were segmented into 12 categories. The second stage of the research, of qualitative character, identified through the study of multiple cases 25 variables that were observed in four schools listed as efficient in the DEA analysis.
