No processo de constituição dos países latino-americanos, diversas comunidades negras se formaram e se mantiveram no contexto de exploração do trabalho e desigual apropriação da terra, em movimentos de resistência, adaptação e produção de territorialidades próprias. Tais comunidades foram consideradas inimigas e ameaças à ordem vigente ao se conformarem como contra hegemonia do uso capitalista do território. No entanto, as formas de resistência foram e seguem sendo constantes, através da participação política, adaptações, revoltas e formação de territorialidades próprias, aqui chamadas de amefricanas como referência à conceituação proposta por Lélia Gonzalez acerca das culturas formadas na diáspora negra atlântica. Após as abolições, ficaram em uma condição de invisibilidade jurídica e, a partir do último quartel do século XX, obtiveram, perante aos textos constitucionais, o reconhecimento enquanto cidadãos com direitos territoriais acessíveis mediante a confirmação de uma identidade étnica específica. A pesquisa trata do longo embate entre territorialidades amefricanas e os constantes enfrentamentos com a lógica espacial reproduzida pela territorialidade hegemonizante do Estado Nacional, em especial no Brasil e na Colômbia, tendo por objetivo analisar as origens históricas da formação de distintas visões de mundo em conflito, as práticas contra-hegemônicas que permitem a continuidade da existência de grupos subalternizados, bem como apontar possibilidades de aprendizados para um outro mundo possível.

In the process of constituiton of Latin American countries, several black communities were formed and maintained in the context of labor exploitantion and unequal land appropriation, in movementes of resistance, adaptation and production of their own territorialities. Such communities were considered enemies and threats to the prevailing order by conforming themselves to the hegemony of the capitalist use of the territory. However, the forms of resistance were and continue to be constant, through political participation, adaptations, revolts and the formation of their own territorialities, here called Amefrican as a reference to the conceptualization proposed by Lélia Gonzalez about the cultures formed in the black Atlantic diaspora. After the abolition, they remained in a condition of legal invisibility and, from the last quarter of the 20th century, they obtained, in the face of constitutional texts, recognition as citizens with territorial rights accessible through the confirmation of a specific ethnic identity. The research deals with the long struggle between Amefrican territorialities and the constant confrontations with the spatial logic reproduced by the hegemonizing territoriality of the National State, especially in Brazil and Colombia, aiming to analyze the historical origins of the formation of different visions of the world in conflict, the counter-hegemonic practices that allow the continued existence of subordinate groups, as well pointing out learning possibilities for another possible world.
