Abstract in English
Except for those texts written for children and teenagers the historical-critical analysis considers all Manoel de Barros' poetry books published from 1937 to 2004 in order to establish the poetics beneath the images and other language structures for which the poet is known. The oeuvre is presented as a poetic architecture of a mythology that makes use of the Pantanal's unities together with the author's biography and in which center the poet is based. The construction results in a particular regionalistic space where Manoel de Barros reproduces himself as a myth and justifies his position as a famer
