Este trabalho investiga, por meio de uma leitura de publicações de Marília Garcia e de Jacques Derrida, as características de gêneros discursivos como ensaio, poema, autobiografia e diário. A partir de uma aproximação/oposição entre filosofia e literatura, considerando, entre outras coisas, o potencial de formular e responder perguntas atribuído a cada uma delas, o objetivo da pesquisa é analisar como os textos dos autores citados se situam em relação a essas duas áreas.

This work investigates, by means of a reading of publications by Marília Garcia and Jacques Derrida, the characteristics of discursive genres such as essay, poem, autobiography and diary. Through an approximation/opposition between philosophy and literature, considering, among other elements, the potential to elaborate and answer questions attributed to each of them, the aim of this research is to analyze how texts by the aforementioned authors are situated in relation to these two areas.
