Escrita feminina
Estudo de gênero

Regionalismo.

Abstract in English
The main objective of this paper is to look into the female writing in the Works of Rachel de Queiroz from a review of the place that was usually given to her in the Brazilian literature panorama - that of a regionalist novelist and practically of one only noverl, O quinze. However, Rachel de Queiroz wrote many other novels, she was the precursor of a more intimista writing aimed at women's issues, she was much more diverse than the eye of the critics often reached her. By studying her writings, specially the first ones, those of the 30s, is was possible to answer two basic questions: what features make up the female writing in Rachel and when her work could be regarded as literature with her own mark, distinguished writing. In order to answer this questions, it was vital to study her female characters, the metaphors she uses in her novels, the option for the bildungsroman present in As três Marias and the hues of a work based on the conjugation of the regional with the female's intimacy and investigation.
