Este estudo tem como objetivo examinar de que maneira os modos de existência presentes na literatura hispano-americana do início dos anos 2000, ao pôr em foco o corpo, problematizam o paradigma de pessoa ou de sujeito da consciência/de direito (ESPOSITO, 2009) como única forma possível/reconhecível do ser vivente que, para ser legitimado enquanto tal, deve sobrepor seu elemento racional-espiritual ao corporal. Nesta abordagem, foram selecionados três romances nos quais o corpo se apresenta como peça-chave, sendo as obras: Fruta podrida (2007), de Lina Meruane, Paraísos (2012), de Iosi Havilio, e Kentukis (2018), de Samanta Schweblin. Para esta análise, propõe-se um entrecruzamento entre literatura e filosofia no qual se dialoga especialmente com a teoria do filósofo italiano Roberto Esposito que, em seus livros Tercera persona (2009) e Dispositivo de la persona (2011), elabora uma crítica à perspectiva dicotômica da categoria de pessoa que se interpõe entre corpo e alma com o propósito de valorar tão somente a dimensão incorpórea da vida como digna de direitos e, por essa razão, é estimada em discursos jurídicos, filosóficos e políticos e, contraditoriamente, sustenta as reivindicações dos direitos humanos. Por fim, argumenta-se que a escrita do corpo nestas ficções hispano-americanas contemporâneas torna-se potência para pensar possibilidades de uma vida outra -na qual o corpo não é rebaixado ou anulado-, além de revelar a violência a que os corpos estão expostos quando não se delimitam à excludente e exclusiva categoria de pessoa

This paper aims to examine how the modes of existence present in Hispanic American literature of the early 2000s, by focusing on the body, problematize the paradigm of person or of subject of consciousness/of right (ESPOSITO, 2009) as the only possible/recognizable form of the living being that, in order to be legitimized as such, must superimpose its rational-spiritual element over the corporeal one. In this approach, three novels were selected in which the body presents itself as a key piece, namely: Fruta podrida (2007), by Lina Meruane, Paraísos (2012), by Iosi Havilio, and Kentukis (2018), by Samanta Schweblin. For this analysis, an intersection between literature and philosophy is proposed in which a dialogue is established especially with the theory of the Italian philosopher Roberto Esposito who, in his books Tercera persona (2009) and Dispositivo de la persona (2011), elaborates a critique to the dichotomous perspective of the category of person that is interposed between body and soul with the purpose of valuing only the incorporeal dimension of life as worthy of rights and, for this reason, is esteemed in legal, philosophical and political discourses and, contradictorily, sustains the claims of the human rights. Lastly, it is argued that the writing of the body in these contemporary Hispanic American fictions becomes a potency to imagine possibilities of other forms of life -in which the body is not demoted or annulled-, in addition to revealing the violence to which bodies are exposed when they are not delimited by the excluding and exclusive category of person
