Abstract in English
This thesis analyzes the first volume of Los diarios de Emilio Renzi: años de formación, written by Argentinian Ricardo Piglia and encompassing both biographical and fictional features. Considering the dialogue between Piglia, the author, and Renzi, the character, this work investigates the intimate as a literary manifestation, assessing the possibility of a narrator's affective genealogy stretched beyond their literary and family genealogies. Methodologically, Los diarios have been considered in its discursive form, through the structure and literary procedures indicating the narrator's intent in setting the narrative, and the investigator has, thus, disassembled and reassembled the text seeking to identify similar themes. Female characters have been the vehicle through which this endeavor was carried out, and aspects of the literary work to which they refer are analyzed. When Piglia depicts the women with whom he is emotionally involved, it is possible to observe brief and sparkling moments in which intimacy stands out and is not exhausted by family and literary genealogies. In Los Diarios, authorship cuts the plot throughout, and the identification of affection as one of the foundational elements of the narrator's formation period points towards a renewed debate regarding the author's presence in the text.
