Esta pesquisa faz um percurso por trajetórias feministas na periferia de São Paulo trazendo, além da pesquisa etnográfica e da observação participante, a análise de entrevistas semiestruturadas. O texto se divide em quatro capítulos: no primeiro, abro com um debate sobre fazer antropologia dentro de seu próprio grupo e apresento minhas interlocutoras. No segundo, trabalho com a história dos Clubes de Mães, que considero fundamentais para o desenvolvimento de movimentos sociais contemporâneos nas periferias e discuto a divisão entre movimentos de mulheres e movimentos feministas, fortemente em voga no período. No terceiro capítulo, proponho um debate sobre as disputas de significado em torno da narrativa sobre as periferias, no qual me interesso pelos sentidos atribuídos ao termo e, particularmente, ao impacto dos sujeitos envolvidos na disputa de sua definição. Uma crítica feminista à narrativa masculina da experiência periférica conecta o debate deste capítulo com o anterior. Na segunda parte, faço uso da autoetnografia para pensar em nossas trajetórias estudantis marcadas pela luta e a dívida: a educação vivida como um objetivo a ser disputado e conquistado. Trago neste capítulo uma cena autoetnográfica, como maneira de inserir a minha própria experiência racial no território, e situar o corpo da antropóloga em campo. No último capítulo, apresento o movimento de organização coletiva que gerou a criação do CDCM - Centro de Defesa e Convivência da Mulher - Casa Viviane dos Santos em Guaianases, no começo dos anos 2000, bem como sua influência na criação do CDCM Casa Anastácia, na Cidade Tiradentes, o primeiro com enfoque racial no atendimento às mulheres. Estas histórias são colocadas em perspectiva para mostrar as muitas e complexas configurações e engajamentos dos movimentos de mulheres nas margens da cidade de São Paulo.

This ethnographic research explores feminist trajectories on the outskirts of São Paulo bringing, in addition to ethnographic research and participant observation, the analysis of semi-structured interviews. This text is organized in four chapters: in the first one, I open with a debate about doing anthropology within one's own social group and I also present my interlocutors. In the second, I work with the history of Mother's Clubs in the 1970's, which I consider fundamental for the development of contemporary movements in urban peripheries, and I discuss the division between women's and feminist movements, a distinction that was stressed in that period. In the third chapter, I propose a debate on the disputes of meaning around the narrative about the peripheries, in which I am interested in the meanings attributed to the term and, particularly, in the impact of the subjects involved in the dispute over its definition. A feminist critique of the male narrative of peripheral experience connects this chapter's debate with the previous one. In the second part, I use autoethnography to think about our student trajectories marked by struggle and debt: education lived as an objective to be disputed and conquered. In this chapter I bring an autoethnographic scene, as a way of inserting my own racial experience in the territory, and situating the anthropologist's body in the field. The last chapter presents the collective organization movement that generated the creation of the Centers for Women's Defense and Living - Casa Viviane dos Santos in Guaianases, in the early 2000s, as well as its influence in the creation of the CDCM Casa Anastácia, in Cidade Tiradentes, the first with a racial focus. These histories are put into perspective to show the many configurations and engagements of women's movements in the outskirts of São Paulo.
