Abstract in English
The study in question brought a reflective analysis from the Guarani Nhandewa thought, relating the theme of intercultural training of indigenous teachers in the state of São Paulo. We take as a starting point the experiences I had as an indigenous teacher working in Indigenous School Education in the last fifteen years, in addition to training as an indigenous and academic subject. The focus of the research was the extension course entitled For an Intercultural Licentiate in the State of São Paulo, promoted by the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) from 2018 to 2020. The reflections and discussions were based on questions about traditional knowledge, indigenous science and western science. At the center of the discussion about "indigenous sciences", we seek to understand how ancestry, spirituality, cosmovision and indigenous languages operated in the foundation of the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the intercultural course for indigenous teachers in parallel with "Western science". For this, we used the methodology of descriptive, empirical and ethnographic analysis, through participant observation, as well as the testimonies of indigenous teachers and spiritual leaders, who were the main protagonists of the entire PPP construction process. In the theoretical-methodological foundation, we use the main conceptual bases that are references in the theme of training indigenous teachers in the state of São Paulo in recent years, in addition, we also seek the concepts of indigenous ethnology and anthropology that bring discussions related to traditional knowledge of the Amerindian peoples.
