A habitação se caracteriza como uma necessidade básica e um dos direitos constitucionais do cidadão brasileiro. O significado que se atribui para este lugar é permeado de simbolismo, considerando as características que norteiam a relação do ser humano com seu meio e o vínculo estabelecido a partir de então. O trabalho tem como objetivo compreender a apropriação do espaço e afetividade de lugar de moradores em área em condição de vulnerabilidade social, que foram transferidos para o Conjunto Habitacional Macapaba no Município de Macapá/AP. A área contém apartamentos que foram construídos para receber 4.366 famílias de baixa renda atendidas pelo Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida. Participaram da pesquisa seis moradores que foram transferidos das áreas de ressaca do bairro Perpétuo Socorro após serem vítimas de um incêndio em que ficaram desabrigados. A metodologia teve abordagem qualitativa e foi fundamentada no estudo de Bomfim (2010), que articula conceitos da Psicologia Ambiental e teoria histórico-cultural. Os instrumentos para a coleta de dados foram observação e aplicação online do instrumento gerador de mapas afetivos (IGMA). Dentre os resultados da pesquisa, a imagem afetiva de destruição e agradabilidade permeou a vivência dos moradores no conjunto, diante dos sentimentos de abandono e insegurança no entorno dos blocos; ao mesmo tempo, demonstrou apego à moradia. A escuta de moradores pode direcionar e sensibilizar a criação de políticas urbanas que priorizem a relação que o indivíduo estabelece com seu meio, no sentido de garantir o respeito às relações de afetividade e identidade com o lugar.

Housing is characterized as a basic need and one of the constitutional rights of Brazilian citizens. The meaning attributed to this place is permeated with symbolism, considering the characteristics that guide the relationship between human beings and their environment and the bond established from then on. The work aims to understand the appropriation of space and affectivity of place of residents in an area in a condition of social vulnerability, who were transferred to the Macapaba Housing Complex in the Municipality of Macapá/AP. The area contains apartments that were built to receive 4,366 low-income families assisted by the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program. The participants were six residents who were transferred from the hangover areas of the Perpétuo Socorro neighborhood after being victims of a fire in which they were left homeless. The methodology has a qualitative approach and was based on the study by Bomfim (2010) that articulates concepts of Environmental Psychology and historical-cultural theory. The instruments for data collection were observation and online application of the affective map generator instrument (IGMA). Among the results of the research, the affective image of destruction and pleasantness permeated the experience of the residents in the complex, in the face of feelings of abandonment and insecurity around the blocks, but of attachment to the house. Listening to residents can direct and sensitize the creation of urban policies that prioritize the relationship that the individual establishes with their environment, in order to guarantee respect for the relationships of affectivity and identity with the place.
