Rugosidade superficial

Abstract in English
A highly polished composite restoration is necessary in order to promote a smooth surface and plaque-free environment. ln this study, the polishability of three compactable composite resins (Surefil, Solitaire, and Filtek P-60) was compared. Polishing was perfomed with Sof-lex, Shofu points, 30 flutes carbide burs (KG-Sorensen), and EVE cubs. After the tests, the results were submited statistics analysis. The ANOVA analysis demonstrated statistical significant difference (p<0,01) for treatments and treatments X resins interation, and compactable composite resins factor (p<0,05%). lt was concluded that polishing with Sof-lex and EVE cubs presented the best results for all three composites tested. The composite resins demonstrated difference superficial behaviour, in order increasing: Filtek P-60, Solitaire and Surefil.
