Nesta dissertação são apresentadas algumas propriedades envolvendo conjuntos da reta numérica. Iremos tratar de conjuntos finitos, infinitos, enumeráveis e não enumeráveis, com o objetivo de auxiliar a compreensão dos conjuntos numéricos dos naturais, inteiros, racionais, irracionais e reais tratados no ensino fundamental e médio. Apresentaremos resultados envolvendo tais conjuntos. Também trabalharemos com a medida de Lebesgue na reta. Teremos um capítulo voltado para esse tema e mostraremos como medir conjuntos utilizando uma medida. Como aplicação, vamos medir os racionais e os irracionais e comparar os tamanhos. Esse trabalho visa auxiliar um professor de matemática do ensino fundamental e médio a respeito de conjuntos numéricos.

In this dissertation, some properties involving sets of the number line are presented. We will deal with finite, infinite, enumerable and non-countable sets, with the aim of helping to understand the natural, integer, rational, irrational and real numerical sets treated in elementary and high school. We will present results involving such sets. We will also work the Lebesgue measure on the straight line. We will have a chapter focused on this topic and we will show you how to measure sets using a measure. As an application, let´s measure rationals and irrationals and compare sizes. This work aims to help an elementary and high school mathematics teacher regarding numerical sets.
