Neste trabalho estudamos duas classes de subvariedades no espaço produto warped R × ρ Qnε , onde Qnε denota o espaço de forma de curvatura seccional constante e igual a ε. Inicialmente, definimos hipersuperfícies do tipo helicoides em R × ρ Qnε , obtendo exemplos explícitos de tais hipersuperfícies. Além disso, estudamos as propriedades fundamentais que são preservadas pelos helicoides e obtemos caracterizações e resultados de classificação local para tais hipersuperfícies em R × ρ Qnε . Estudamos também superfícies com curvatura média paralela na conexão normal em R × ρ Qnε . Obtemos um teorema de redução de codimensão neste ambiente e, como aplicação, obtemos um teorema do tipo Alencar-do Carmo-Tribuzy para superfícies em R × ρ Qnε com curvatura média paralela.

In this work we study two class of submanifolds in the warped product space R × ρ Qnε , where Qnε denotes the space form with constant sectional curvature ε . We define helicoidal hypersurfaces into R × Qnε and we obtain some explicit examples of such hypersurfaces. Moreover, we study the fundamental properties of the helicoids and we got characterizations and local results of classification for such hypersurfaces. On the second class, we study surfaces with parallel mean curvature in the normal connection of R × ρ Qnε . We obtain a theorem of reduction of codimension for this ambient space and, as application, we got a version of Alencar-do Carmo-Tribuzy's theorem for surfaces into R × ρ Qnε with parallel mean curvature.
