Essa dissertação é fruto de atividades de estudo orientado e reuniões realizadas no período em que estive envolvido no programa de pós graduação em Matemática no Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação da Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC-USP) como aluno de Mestrado. A finalidade dele é introduzir um objeto de grande interesse na Matemática, a saber a Grassmanniana de um espaço de Hilbert. Para tanto, iniciamos o texto com um modelo finitodimensional, onde mostramos, em partucular, que, nesse contexto, a Grassmanniana possui uma estrutura diferenciável natural. Em seguida, dispomos na parte central do texto as ferramentas de análise funcional necessárias para generalizar as noções do capítulo prévio em um espaço de Hilbert separável de dimensão infinita, o que, por fim, é abordado no capítulo subsequente.

This dissertation is the result of guided studies activities and meetings by the time I was a Master student of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) of University of São Paulo (USP). Its aim is to introduce a mathematical object called the Grassmannian of a Hilbert Space. For this purpose, we begin studying the finite-dimensional case, where we showed that the Grassmannian has a natural differentiable structure and is a homogeneous space. Next, we introduce the necessary tools of functional analysis to generalize the notions of the previous chapter to te infinite-dimensional case, which is done after.
