As palavras transformação, mudança e emancipação, frequentemente empregadas em discursos educacionais, são passíveis de assumir sentidos muito diversos. Tal polissemia, longe de ser algo ocasional, possui uma base material e histórica, quer dizer, é determinada pelas posições ideológicas em jogo no contexto da luta de classes. Nesta tese, analiso a constituição dos sentidos dessas palavras nos discursos ancorados num corpus formado por 79 artigos publicados em três periódicos científicos nacionais, relacionados ao campo da Educação Matemática, entre os anos de 2017 e 2020. A partir dessa análise, busco identificar as formações ideológicas que concorrem para a constituição desses sentidos, a fim de debater a orientação dessas formações sob uma perspectiva materialista, histórica e dialética. O recorte temporal se refere ao momento ulterior ao golpe parlamentar-jurídicomidiático ocorrido no Brasil, que pôs em curso, sob a chancela popular, um processo acelerado de desmonte de direitos sociais, democráticos e trabalhistas, colocando em questão o papel da educação ante as crises que acometem esta sociedade. O estudo está inserido na vertente de investigações sobre a produção de conhecimento científico, sob a ótica do desenvolvimento da escrita acadêmica, com a particularidade de abarcar o conteúdo ideológico presente nos artigos. A análise discursiva é fundamentada numa leitura crítica dos estudos desenvolvidos por Michel Pêcheux, a propósito da semântica discursiva. A discussão dos resultados é embasada pelos estudos de Karl Marx e Friedrich Engels, com as contribuições de Alysson L. Mascaro, Florestan Fernandes, György Lukács, István Mészáro, Ivo Tonet e Leandro Konder. Na análise dos textos, foi identificada a forte presença de um viés idealista nos discursos que os perpassam. Esse viés, que cumpre a função ideológica de dissimular a materialidade histórica das relações sociais a que estamos submetidos, faz com que os discursos sobre transformação, mudança e emancipação, na prática, contribuam para a concretização do oposto daquilo que estaria sendo defendido. Isso significa que, a despeito de partirem dos pressupostos de que a realidade social precisa ser transformada e de que os seres humanos precisam se emancipar, tais discursos trabalham em favor da manutenção do modo de produção capitalista que, em última análise, é a raiz do problema das desigualdades sociais.

The words transformation, change and emancipation, frequently applied in educational discourses, are liable to take on very different meanings. This polysemy, far from being occasional, has a material and historical basis, determined by the ideological positions at stake, in the context of class struggle. In this thesis, I analyze the constitution of the meanings of these words in the discourses anchored in a corpus formed by 79 articles published in three Brazilian scientific journals, related to the field of Mathematics Education, between the years of 2017 and 2020. From there, I try to identify the ideological background that contribute to their definitions, in order to debate their background from a materialist, historical, and dialectical perspective. The study's time range is related to the moment after the parliamentary-judicial-media coup that took place in Brazil, which set into motion, with popular endorsement, an accelerated process of dismantling of social, democratic, and labor rights, calling into question the role of education, in face of the crises that affect this society. This study is within the strand of investigations on the production of scientific knowledge, from the perspective of the development of academic writing, with a particular focus on a systematic discussion of the ideological contents present in the articles. The discursive analysis is based on a critical reading of the studies developed by Michel Pêcheux, about discursive semantics. Studies by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, and contributions from Alysson L. Mascaro, Florestan Fernandes, György Lukács, István Mészáro, Ivo Tonet and Leandro Konder are the basis for the analyses of the results. In the analyses of the texts, a strong presence of an idealist bias was found in the discourses that permeate them. This bias fulfills the ideological function of disguising the historicity of the social relations. In practice, the same bias leads the discourses about transformation, change and emancipation to contribute to the opposite of what seems to be defended. This means that, despite assuming the need for transformation of social reality and that human beings must emancipate themselves, these discourses favor the permanence of the capitalist mode of production. Even though, ultimately, this mode of production is at the origin of the problem of social inequalities.
