Este trabalho apresenta a laje composta como uma opção para a execução dos pisos de edifícios de múltiplos andares. Em se tratando de um produto não convencional em nosso país, passa-se inicialmente por uma conceituação e análise das possibilidades mercadológicas do mesmo. Discutem-se, posteriormente as técnicas de execução, a proteção contra a corrosão e o fogo, e a viabilidade econômica deste tipo de laje.

This dissertation introduces the steel deck reinforced slab as an option for the execution of multi-storey buildings. As it is not a conventional product in our community we established firtly its definition and marketing possibilities. Later, its is discussed the execution thechnics, corrosion and fire protection, and economic viability of this sort of slab.
