Abstract in English
This thesis addresses the analysis of spatial trusses under contact conditions with no friction. The analysis is based strongly on mathematical programming and optimization methods. The Augmented Lagrangian Method, which is an eficiente technique to solve contact problems, is applied here. Examples of spatial trusses under contact condition without friction are presented at the end of this thesis. It is believed that the theoretical contente of this thesis can be readly adapted to the other finite elemento formulations.
