Neste trabalho, apresentamos um método de modelagem matemática de sistemas hidráulicos genéricos, compostos de reservatórios, tubulações, válvulas e bombas, que possa ser eficientemente utilizado para simulação e implementação de esquemas de controle. Em seguida, apresentamos técnicas de otimização aplicadas ao controle operacional do sistema. Devido a inerente complexidade do problema abordado, discutimos quais métodos são apropriados à resolução deste. Como resultado, elaboramos também um programa eficiente para a simulação do sistema e um planejador de decisões que poderá ser utilizado por um operador ou integrado on line ao sistema supervisor do controle operacional.

In this work, a hydraulic system modeling method is developed. The system can accommodate reservoirs, pipes, valves and pumps and can be efficiently used for the simulation and implementation of control schemes. After that, we discuss optimization techniques that can be applied to the operational control of the system. Due to the inherent complexity of the problem, we discuss which methods are more suitable to the case. Then, we develop an efficient software for simulation and a decision planning module that can either be used by a human operator or integrated on line to the supervisor module of the operational controller of the system.
