Abstract in English
It is presented here a quadrilateral, isoparametric, four nodes, 5 degrees of freedon per node, sandwich plate/flat shell finite elemento, called SNDQH1, based on an assumed stress hybrid model. Sandwich structures with anisotropic laminated faces and arbitrarily oriented orthotropic cores, can be analysed with this elemento. A mass matrix was also developed in this work in order to allow dynamic analysis. Despite the very simple sandwich plate theory considered, test results show that the SNDQH1 element presents a good behaviour in the analysis of sandwich plates normally found in practice.
