Neste trabalho foi desenvolvido um modelo que representa o atual circuito de moagem de ALUMAR. Este modelo teve por base 52 amostragens realizadas no circuito industrial estudado por um período de dois meses. O modelo desenvolvido foi empregado para análise de desempenho do circuito atual e indicou ser um recurso bastante útil para estabelecimento de cenários de operação e ajustes para obtenção do produto especificado. O mesmo modelo serviu de base para simulação e análise de desempenho da nova linha de moagem da ALUMAR. Sob a ótica da abordagem energética de Bond/Rowland o circuito atual da ALUMAR apresenta desempenho considerado excelente.

In this work was developed a model which represents the existing ALUMAR grinding circuit. This model was based on 52 samples collected from the industrial circuit in a period of two months. The developed model was applied to analyze the existing circuit performance being a very useful resource for establishing different operational scenarios and adjustments in order to achieve the correct product specification required by the process. The same model was used for performance analysis and simulation of ALUMAR's future grinding circuit. Under Bond/Rowland's energetic approach, ALUMAR's existing grinding circuit presents an excellent performance.
