Métodos numéricos em dinâmica dos fluidos

Abstract in English
This report investigates the incompressible flow around a rotating cylinder by means of two numerical methods of simulations: the discrete vortex method and the finite volume method. Simulations were performed for Re=100, 160 and 200 through the FVM and for 0'< OU =''ALFA''< OU ='5.45, where a is the rotational speed of the cylinder normalized with the free-stream velocity. The discrete vortex method were used to simulated flow at Re = 10000, because the flow at low Re is beyond the nature of this method.
