Abstract in English
This thesis analyzes the author's own artistic trajectory in the visual and audiovisual arts, passing through different social and political issues in the last two decades in Brazil. About twenty artworks are examined in their different historical contexts with an emphasis on the subjective mobilization, propositions placed on the creative path and the research generated by these processes. Through looking at these individual and collective poetic actions, the thesis seeks to study how these contemporary visual and audiovisual works were organized and what their influences, references, structures and forms of exhibition were. The systematization of the interviews, testimonials and reflections of these artistic processes allows us to observe a complex diagram with links between different theoretical fields such as sociology, history, art theory and philosophy. The examination of these processes points to a contemporary invention of a singular process of audiovisual creation with its aesthetic and ethical choices for the production and circulation of these works.
