Abstract in English
"Só se vive duas vezes" (You Only Live Twice) is the result of a theoretical-practical masters research in which I address my own artistic work. It begins with the analysis of artworks from 2009 to 2022, closely to the artistic process itself. The issues that structure the works operating modes become mingled with the objects, landscapes, and imagens from which they are made. Conceptual figures merge with contemporary art strategies: mimesis, kitsch, installation, site-specific become a constellation which outlines the works. Throughout the texts, the essays begin to embody the contexts and spaces where the works are exhibited, and the artwork also becomes art work.
