ELA, é uma investigação sobre a produção de imagens na arte contemporânea, sobre sua autoria e presença espectral no mundo. Este estudo parte da ideia de que, uma vez instalada no mundo, a obra artística se desprende de sua origem, ocupando uma posição espectral junto ao espectador. A pesquisa é realizada na primeira pessoa do singular, uma autora em busca de seu autorretrato artístico; por outro lado, é a apropriação da imagem feminina pela autora mulher. ELA, é um livro cujas forma e estrutura dão a possibilidade do trabalho artístico e a investigação acadêmica caminharem juntos.

ELA is an investigation into the production of images in contemporary art, with regard to their authorship and their spectral presence in the world. This study is based on the idea that, once the artistic work is installed in the world, it detaches itself from its origin, occupying a spectral position with the spectator. The research is conducted in the first person of singular, an women author looking for her artistic self-portrait; on the other hand, its the appropriation of the female image by the female author. ELA, is a book whose form and structure give the possibility that the artistic work and academic research to go together.
