Abstract in English
In the year 2066, André Felipe receives a message from the library of the University of São Paulo informing that, due to the Big Data crash, his doctoral dissertation entitled Postcards for the end of the world: Latin American temporalities in contemporary dramaturgy (2011-2021) has disappeared from the universitys archive. From then on, André begins a search for his dissertation defended almost half a century ago, but all he finds are analog and digital traces of it; such as a sketchbook, an USB stick, and a collection of old postcards. The material arranged here gathers and recreates the wreckages of an investigation on the representation of time and the imagination of the future in Latin American dramaturgy of the second decade of the 21st century from the point of view of a Brazilian playwright
