Este trabalho tem por objetivo a investigação acerca do conceito de autodefesa a partir da reflexão sobre dois filmes do diretor sueco Goran Olsson, Concerning Violence (2014) e The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 (2011). Para tanto, a pesquisa se ampara também nas considerações críticas de autores como Frantz Fanon e Walter Benjamin, sobre o problema da violência e suas implicações políticas, bem como nas reflexões de Georges Didi-Huberman sobre a noção de levantes e nos trabalhos de Jared Ball sobre a forma da mixtape, a qual temos como horizonte nas nossas análises dos filmes de Olsson, eles mesmos, segundo seu autor, pensados como mixtapes cinematográficas. Também compõe esta dissertação um Dossiê Pedagógico no qual são reunidas proposições criativas e pedagógicas sobre os conceitos que norteiam este trabalho, a partir de materiais teóricos e artísticos nos quais a ideia de autodefesa é articulada em algumas das suas possíveis acepções.

Abstract in English
This work aims at the investigation of the concept of self-defense, taking as a starting point two films by Swedish filmmaker Goran Olsson, Concerning Violence (2014) and The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 (2011). To do so, the research is based upon the considerations by authors such as Frantz Fanon and Walter Benjamin on the question of violence and its political implications, as well as the reflections by Georges Didi-Huberman on the notion of uprisings and the works by Jared Ball on mixtapes, an artistic form which serves as a horizon for our analysis of the films by Olsson, themselves, according to the filmmaker, conceived as cinematographic mixtapes. This dissertation also includes a Pedagogical Dossier composed by creative and pedagogical propositions on the concepts on which this research reflects, elaborated upon theoretical and artistic materials in which the idea of self-defense is articulated in its multiple meanings.
