A presente tese reflete sobre diferentes perspectivas na relação entre o teatro e os povos originários, abordando noções sobre epistemologia, corpo, invisibilidade social, colonialidade e arte. Todo o trabalho é feito em um diálogo com o saber dos povos indígenas, tendo como referência o pensamento e a prática de líderes, artistas e intelectuais de diferentes etnias. A escrita é elaborada de forma poética valorizando a experiência como ponto central na realização artística e no campo expandido do teatro. Assim, a própria convivência de anos ao lado de pessoas que são do povo originário, a criação de espetáculos e de festival, passam a ser entendidos como formas potenciais de produção de conhecimento e de ativismo estético político. Para além da produção na arte, a conexão entre os povos indígenas e o teatro é observada como oportunidade para expansão do pensamento, apontando movimentos para a reinvenção das nossas formas de existir.

This thesis reflects on different perspectives about the relationship between theater and indigenous peoples, discussing notions of epistemology, body, social invisibility, coloniality and art. This work is done in a dialogue with the knowledge of indigenous peoples, implying the thought and practice of leaders, artists and intellectuals from different ethnic groups as main reference. The writing is elaborated in a poetic way, valuing experience as a central point in artistic achievement and in theater as expanded field. Thus, the coexistence of years alongside people from First Nations, the creation of shows and festival come to be understood as potential forms of knowledge production and political aesthetic activism. In addition to art production, the connection between indigenous peoples and theater is seen as an opportunity to expand thinking, pointing to movements for the reinvention of our ways of existence.
