Esta Dissertação de Mestrado trata da aprendizagem dos princípios da Informática e da utilização de computadores, por indivíduos da Terceira Idade. Devido à informatização, cada vez mais crescente, da sociedade contemporânea, seus elementos devem, necessariamente, ser possuidores destes conhecimentos. A Terceira Idade, por já ter passado pelos bancos escolares, irá buscá-los em outros lugares ou de formas diferentes das tradicionais. Assim sendo, procurou-se, dentro de um enfoque cibernético, estabelecer, para os integrantes da Terceira Idade: 1 - Quais seriam as maneiras otimizantes de ministrar estes conhecimentos de informática; 2 - Quais os seus principais interesses corno usuários e "alunos" nessa área.

These Master Degree Dissertation deals with the Informatic learning and the Third-Generation computer's use. Due to the informatization, each time greater, o f t he contemporary society, yours members must, necessarily, t o have these knowings. The Third Age, because they have already l eft the classrooms, will search them at another places or by others ways than the traditional ones. So, under a cybernetic vision, was tried to stablish, for the Third Age members: 1 - Which would be the opmizings ways to conduct the cl asses to get these learnings; 2 - Which are they leading interest like informatic users and "scholars".
