junta soldada

Abstract in English
The present work was carried out with the aim of evaluating the influence of the presence of a welded joint on the mechanical properties at room temperature and at high temperature of the G-NiCr28W-MA alloy cast by gravity. Alloy plates were cast, then welded, and then samples of the base metal and the cross-section of the welded joint were extracted, subjected to analysis and testing under raw melting and aged conditions. The analyzes and tests at room temperature were carried out with the aim of studying the microstructural evolution and the effects of aging on the mechanical properties of the material, which showed relevant differences between the characteristics and behavior of the base metal and the welded joint. Tensile tests were performed on the base metal and on the welded joint, from 24°C to 1000°C. Creep tests on the base metal and on the welded joint were performed in the temperature range of 900°C and 1100°C and stresses between 15 MPa and 60 MPa. The tensile test results were analyzed using the Hollomom equation, making it possible to determine the components of the equation as a function of temperature, thus being able to compare the results by determining the influence of the weld in relation to the base metal, which showed considerable effects on the results. Creep tests also show that the presence of a weld in this material has significant phenomenological influences that must be taken into account in the manufacture and application of this material. Such results were analyzed through the classical theories of creep study such as Monkman-Grant, Nórton and Arrhenius and show that the weld region, due to the amount of solute and cooling conditions, results in microstructural refinement in relation to the base metal, has deleterious influence on the time-dependent mechanical properties of deformation.
