Este trabalho parte de um processo de pesquisa iniciado em 2019 que, ao longo destes quatro anos, assumiu diferentes formatos, arranjos e intensidades, contribuindo para a formulação de reflexões acerca das vivências urbanas de infâncias em territórios periféricos. Resultou da interlocução com um grupo de crianças na comunidade da Nova República, na cidade de Salvador/BA, que revelaram, em suas narrativas, questões relacionadas às violências e violações de direitos que conduzem à uma leitura acerca das estruturas de morte, fragmen- tação e insegurança que permeiam a vida urbana, especialmente nos territórios periféricos. Por outro lado, nesta mesma interlocução, também se evidenciaram os arranjos comunitários e as redes de cuidado, afeto e sociabilidade que são mo- bilizados para garantir a continuidade dessas existências, revelando a formação de alianças para a manutenção da vida nestes espaços. As entradas encontradas para abordar esse tema são atravessadas por relatos, registros e imagens trazidos pelas crianças, reforçando as experiências coletivas, as redes autônomas de pro- teção e as estratégias comunitárias de sobrevivência, bem como a desigualdade e a racialidade que caracterizam as formas de violência vividas nessa encruzilhada. Propõe-se, portanto, olhar para as políticas de morte e as alianças para a vida em atravessamento e seus reflexos na produção da cidade, alimentando e informan- do o campo dos estudos urbanos com abordagens que anunciam possibilidades de vida diante das estruturas necropolíticas da cidade.

This research is based on a process that began in 2019 and, over these four years, has taken on various formats, arrangements, and intensities, con- tributing to the development of reflections on urban experiences in childhood within peripheral territories. It emerged from engaging with a group of children in the Nova República community in the city of Salvador, Brazil, who, through their narratives, revealed issues related to violence and violations of rights that lead to an understanding of the structures of death, fragmentation, and insecurity that permeate urban life, especially in peripheral areas. On the other hand, within this same interaction, community arrangements and networks of care, affection, and sociability have also become evident, mobilized to ensure the continuity of these existences, revealing the formation of alliances to promote life in these spaces. The approaches used to address this theme are informed by accounts, records, and images provided by the children, reinforcing collective experiences, autonomous networks of protection, and community survival strategies, as well as the inequalities and racial aspects that characterize the forms of violence experienced in this intersection. Therefore, the aim is to examine the policies of life and death in an interconnected way and their effects on the production of the city, enriching and informing the field of urban studies with approaches that herald possibilities of life in the face of the necropolitical structures of the city.
