A atuação de Arnaldo Furquim Paoliello (1927-) através da Construtora Paoliello Ltda. (1949-1965) coincidiu com o período de consolidação da Arquitetura Modernia no contexto paulistano. Na sua produção residencial unifamiliar desse período, edificada em bairros de classe média, no sudoeste da capital, adotou elementos dessa linguagem. O inventário das suas residências, baseado na revista comemorativa da construtora, de 1956, e nos remanescentes de sua obra ainda existentes na cidade, permitiu identificar as soluções projetuais e as características plásticas dessas residências e sua relação com o contexto arquitetônico do período. A reconstituição de sua rede de relações familiares e profissionais, ao longo de sua trajetória, permitiu observar as opções de sua clientela com a linguagem adotada.

The performance of Arnaldo Furquim Paoliello (1927-) through Construtora Paoliello Ltda. (1949-1965) coincided with the period of consolidation of Modern Architecture in São Paulo. In his single-family residential production from that period, built in middle-class neighborhoods in the southwest of the capital, he adopted elements of that language. The inventory of its residences, based on the builder's commemorative magazine, from 1956, and on the remnants of its work still existing in the city, allowed identifying the design solutions and the plastic characteristics of these residences and their relationship with the architectural context of the period. The reconstitution of its network of family and professional relationships, throughout its trajectory, allowed observing the options of its clientele with the adopted language.
