This thesis presents the projects of Architecture and Museology for the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo MAC-USP, aiming to study the relation between the needs program and the achieved projects presented from 1963 to 2001. It still analyses previous as well political, economical and technical factors which contributed to the effectiveness or not of these projects.
