Abstract in English
Light Wood Frame system stands out for being an alternative in industrialized construction, with a fast construction process and reduced waste. On the other hand, the Brazilian performance standard evaluates characteristics and environment in terms of climate and human physiology of thermal conditioning aiming at adequate built performance, both from a thermal and acoustic point of view. In this context, this work aims to evaluate, based on Brazilian standards, the thermal performance of a single-family house in Light Wood Frame built in the city of São Carlos/SP. To this end, temperature measurements were taken on typical winter and summer days duly characterized on the four facades and inside four rooms of the aforementioned Light Wood Frame dwelling, three of which were suites and one living room. In addition, simulations were carried out in Sketchup to better determine the project involved in this research. This way, it was possible to compare the data obtained with technical normalization. The results demonstrated that thermal performance, according to the design analysis, considers the implementation of the project as a determining factor, considering that the insolation, shading area and glass present in the project do not contribute satisfactorily to the results.
