A Biblioteca Comunitária Caminhos da Leitura (BCCL) foi criada em Parelheiros, em 2009, pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos e Apoio Comunitário (IBEAC) juntamente com um grupo de adolescentes. Integra a Rede Nacional de Bibliotecas Comunitárias (RNBC). O investimento nos deslocamentos para dentro e para fora da cidade e na leitura literária como principal conteúdo das (trans)formações dos/as jovens resultou em experiências bem-sucedidas, que despertaram o interesse de visitantes moradores/as da metrópole paulistana e de outros continentes, desejosos em conhecer e vivenciar in loco as experiências nascidas neste projeto. A biblioteca de um lado empurrou os jovens e seus frequentadores a conhecerem a cidade, o país e o mundo via literaturas e de forma física. E, de outro lado, foi atraindo visitantes, contribuindo à movimentação de pessoas, objetos, informações, ideias, imagens, imaginários e da própria biblioteca. Neste contexto, a pesquisa teve por objetivo observar, descrever e analisar as manifestações de mobilidades na e da BCCL no período de 2008 a 2020, buscando responder como viagem e literatura de formas prática e metafórica se imbricam na construção das mobilidades turísticas de e para Parelheiros. Em consonância com a identificada atratividade que Parelheiros e a BCCL exercem em distintos grupos, o arcabouço teórico da pesquisa se assentou no Paradigma das Novas Mobilidades (PNM) e na compreensão da biblioteca como ponto de convergência e irradiação de mudanças, do espaço íntimo ao espaço público, por meio do acesso à literatura, contribuindo para discussões sobre as mobilidades turísticas em relação direta com o universo da leitura. Com uma abordagem metodológica qualitativa, objetivos exploratórios e procedimentos da pesquisa participante, o trabalho envolveu diretamente os sujeitos da biblioteca comunitária, bem como as idas e vi(n)das institucionais das gestoras do IBEAC e de visitantes que estiveram na BCCL em 12 anos. Pôde-se observar que, ao se moverem, os/as jovens superaram fricções e construíram seus itinerários como leitores e viajantes. Por sua vez, turistas (viajantes de fora da região metropolitana) juntam-se aos visitantes vindos/as da própria cidade ou de municípios vizinhos para compartilhar motivações, experiências, mobilidades, diferindo muito pouco entre si

The Biblioteca Comunitária Caminhos da Leitura (BCCL) [Caminhos da Leitura Community Library] was created in Parelheiros, a working-class neighborhood in the city of São Paulo, in 2009, by the Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos e Apoio Comunitário (IBEAC) [Brazilian Institute of Community Studies and Support], along with a group of teenagers. It is a member of the Rede Nacional de Bibliotecas Comunitárias (RNBC) [National Network of Community Libraries. The investment in both moving youngsters in and out of the city and promoting literary reading as the main content of their (trans) formations resulted in successful experiences. This sparked the interest of visitors living in the metropolis of São Paulo and other continents, eager to get to know the experiences that arose in this project in loco. The library, on the one hand, pushed youngsters and their users to get to know the city, the country and the world via literature and also in a physical way. On the other hand, it attracted visitors, contributing to the movement of people, objects, information, ideas, images, imagery and the library itself. In this context, the research aimed to observe, describe and analyze the manifestations of mobilities at and from BCCL in the period from 2008 to 2020, seeking to answer how travel and literature - in practical and metaphorical ways - are intertwined in the construction of tourist mobilities from and to Parelheiros. In line with the recognized attractiveness that Parelheiros and BCCL have in different groups, the theoretical framework was based on the New Mobilities Paradigm (NMP) and on the understanding of the library as a point of convergence and irradiation of changes, from the intimate space to the public space, through access to literature, contributing to discussions on tourism mobility in direct relation to the universe of reading. Qualitative methodological approach, exploratory objectives and participatory research procedures have been employed, involving directly the subjects of the community library, as well as the comings and goings of the IBEAC institutional managers and visitors who had been at BCCL for 12 years. It was observed that, once on the move, youngsters overcame frictions and built their itineraries as readers and travelers. In turn, tourists (travelers from outside the metropolitan region) joined visitors from the city itself or from neighboring municipalities to share motivations, experiences, mobility, differing very little from each other
