Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a tramitação do Projeto de Lei 349/2015, que resultou na legislação brasileira de combate à violência política contra a mulher, bem como conhecer a perspectiva de mulheres eleitas à Câmara dos Deputados a respeito da violência política de gênero. Para tanto, utilizamos duas ferramentas de pesquisa: entrevistas semiestruturadas e documentos de domínio público. As entrevistas e os discursos proferidos na sessão plenária da Câmara foram analisadas à luz da teoria da Análise Crítica do Discurso. Parte dos documentos de domínio público nos forneceram dados que nos permitiram analisar de que maneira as mulheres são inseridas na política no Brasil e quais são os efeitos da lei de cotas para a inserção das mulheres nas disputas e nos cargos de poder. Como resultado, concluímos que houve embates em torno da aprovação da Lei 14.192, especialmente em torno da inclusão da dimensão de gênero. Por fim, as violências sofridas devido à orientação sexual não foram sequer discutidas e a Câmara dos Deputados decidiu excluir a previsão legal, aprovada num momento em que as forças políticas conservadoras dominam o país (ano de 2021). Apesar de ser um avanço, a Lei focaliza apenas as mulheres cis e é insuficiente, já que exclui do escopo de proteção as mulheres trans e homens homoafetivo, grupos que tem sido sistematicamente alvo de violência política na Câmara dos Deputados e nas câmaras estaduais e municipais do país. A pesquisa indicou também que as experiências das deputadas no exercício de cargos políticos foram marcadas por violência política em razão de seu gênero e raça. Elas relatam que os ataques acontecem tanto dentro quanto fora do parlamento, mas que são mais frequentes dentro do parlamento.

This research aimed to analyze the processing of Bill 349/2015, which resulted in the Brazilian legislation to combat political violence against women, and to know the perspective of women elected to the Federal Chamber regarding political gender violence. We used two research tools: semi-structured interviews and public domain documents. The interviews and speeches of the plenary session of the Chamber were analyzed by the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis. Part of the documents in the public domain provided us with data that allowed us to analyze how women are included in politics in Brazil and what are the effects of the quota law for the insertion of women in politics. We conclude that there were clashes around the approval of Law 14,192, especially regarding the inclusion of the gender dimension. The violence suffered due to sexual orientation was not discussed and the Federal Chamber excluded the legal provision, reflecting the moment when conservative political forces dominate the country (year 2021). Despite being an advance, the Law only covers cis women and is insufficient because it excludes trans women and homosexual men from the scope of protection, groups that are targets of political violence in the Federal Chamber and in the country's state and municipal chambers. The research indicated that the experiences of the deputies in office were marked by political violence due to their gender and race. They report that the attacks take place both inside and outside parliament, but that they are more frequent inside parliament.
