Abstract in English
Smale showed, using the famous horseshoe construction, that for diffeomorphisms with transversal homoclinic points there is a compact invariant set on which the action of some iterate of the diffeomorphism is topologically conjurate to the action of the Bernoulli shift. We will show this statement using the s-called shadowing lemma. Our basic technique is the theory of erxponential dichotomies.
