Flexibilização

Abstract in English
With recurrent economic crises that plagued the twentieth century and early twentyfirst century there was a large impact on the global labor market, with high levels of unemployment and informal working proliferation. Thus, the European Union, in order to minimize the impacts and increase the competitiveness of European countries, adopted the concept of flexicurity, originally from Denmark and the Netherlands. At the same time, the ILO launched the concept of Decent Work, which seeks the convergence of the strategic objectives of the institution, proposing the creation of an agenda by the countries where it promotes social dialogue, social protection and job creation that effectively consolidate the social value of work. Thus, this study aims to discuss what are the limits of flexible working rights in Brazil offsetting up the two concepts, as well as verifying the possibility of implementing a flexicurity model in Brazil.
