Keywords in Portuguese
REAÇÕES FOTONUCLEARES

Abstract in English
Experiments designed to obtain information on the value of the width of resonance of Arsenic (A = 75) were performed by the residual activity methods and detection of neutrons. To this end, a system to detect the neutrons produced by X-radiation pulses from Betatron 24 Mev the University of São Paulo, was built and its properties studied. In order to situate the problem within modern research on photodisintegration, the significant information that can be obtained from measurements are discussed. A review analysis of experimental difficulties is made. The importance of the results is discussed and the incorrectness of certain interpretations made previously and highlighted. Mention is made of new methods to analyze experimental data.
