O debate sobre como ensinar empreendedorismo de uma forma eficaz, motivando os alunos a serem empreendedores e os auxiliando no desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências empreendedoras, tem entrado em evidência. Ressalta-se que é necessário um ensino ativo, com foco na experiência, em que os alunos tenham contato com o empreendedor e o ambiente de negócios. Nesse sentido, a aprendizagem experiencial ganha destaque na educação para o empreendedorismo, sendo considerada uma abordagem pedagógica em que os alunos aprendem fazendo. Portanto, esta dissertação tem como objetivo entender como a aprendizagem experiencial tem sido utilizada na educação para o empreendedorismo, evidenciando como ela pode ser aplicada e quais os benefícios e desafios da aplicação dessa aprendizagem na educação para o empreendedorismo. Para tanto, inicialmente, é realizada uma revisão sistemática dos estudos que aplicaram e avaliaram a aprendizagem experiencial na educação para o empreendedorismo. A partir dessa revisão pode-se classificar os tipos de atividades e identificar os benefícios e desafios provenientes dessa forma de ensino. Sequentemente, foi realizado um estudo de caso na disciplina de Empreendedorismo da Universidade de São Paulo, a qual foi estruturada com base na teoria da aprendizagem experiencial de Kolb (1984), com o objetivo de entender os benefícios que os alunos observaram com essa abordagem e os desafios enfrentados pelos alunos e pela professora da disciplina. Desta forma, foram encontrados benefícios relacionados a oportunidade dos alunos em vivenciar o empreendedorismo; a motivação e envolvimento dos alunos proporcionada pelo ambiente de aprendizado; o desenvolvimento de habilidades empreendedoras; e, a influência positiva na intenção dos alunos em empreender. Em relação aos desafios, foi possível observar dificuldades de adaptação do ensino tradicional para o ensino experiencial.

The debate on how to teach entrepreneurship effectively, motivating students to be entrepreneurs and assisting them in the development of entrepreneurial skills and competences, has come into evidence. It is noteworthy that active teaching is necessary, with a focus on experience, in which students have contact with the entrepreneur and the business environment. In this sense, experiential learning is highlighted in the teaching of entrepreneurship, being considered a pedagogical approach in which students learn by doing. Therefore, this dissertation aims to understand how experiential learning has been used in entrepreneurship education, showing how it can be applied and what are the benefits and challenges of applying this learning in entrepreneurship education. Therefore, initially, a systematic review of the studies that applied and evaluated experiential learning in the teaching of entrepreneurship is carried out. From this review it is possible to classify the types of activities and identify the benefits and challenges arising from this form of teaching. Subsequently, a case study was carried out in the discipline of Entrepreneurship at the University of São Paulo, which was structured based on the theory of experiential learning by Kolb (1984), in order to understand the benefits that students observed with this approach and the challenges faced by the students and the discipline teacher. In this way, benefits were found related to the students' opportunity to experience entrepreneurship; the motivation and involvement of students provided by the learning environment; the development of entrepreneurial skills; and, the positive influence on students' entrepreneurial intention. In relation to the challenges, it was possible to observe difficulties in adapting traditional teaching to experiential teaching.
