Abstract in English
The present research seeks to present the trajectory of Art/Education, having as object of study the time frame in which Ana Mae Barbosa was manager of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC/USP), from 1987 to 1993, a period in which developed the Triangular Approach. In the meantime, exhibitions and workshops were held, with the aim of transforming the museum into a space to receive all audiences, expanding the channel of aesthetic communication with the population and creating an opportunity to make the museum a democratic space. The exhibitions presented marked the history of Barbosa's management, as they brought significant and striking changes, influencing the education of the institution, as well as other museums, until the present. To understand how the Triangular Approach was developed, the influences and studies carried out before and during its development are presented, as well as the events that made its name change from Triangular Methodology to Triangular Proposal and, later, to Triangular Approach. Interviews were carried out with some of the professionals who participated in this construction, as a way of obtaining information and subsidies for this research
