"Preta nas Artes" é uma pesquisa que analisa a representação de mulheres negras no Brasil, a partir de obras com diferentes perspectivas autorais e possibilidades de experiências estéticas, refletindo sobre a construção da memória de nosso povo. Distinguese o protagonismo do corpo feminino racializado no campo das Artes Plásticas dos séculos XX e XXI e suas implicações na construção de narrativas nacionais e identitárias. Objetivase fomentar análises que humanizam as figuras das mulheres negras em obras de arte que marcam subjetividades. Para isso, a pesquisa faz considerações sobre trabalhos memoráveis por retratá-las; estuda relações estéticas proporcionadas por aqueles que desfazem estereótipos, através de análises interseccionais dialéticas. O estudo se entrelaça com as manifestações artísticas contemporâneas, contando com cartografias, seminários, diálogos com artistas brasileiras, um estudo de caso sobre a "mãe preta" e uma entrevista com Rosana Paulino. Esta pesquisa defende o poder revolucionário da arte enquanto experiência limítrofe.

"Preta nas Artes" is research that analyzes the representation of black women in Brazil, from works with different authorial perspectives and possibilities of aesthetic experiences, reflecting on the construction of the memory of our people. The protagonism of the racialized female body in the field of Visual Arts in the 20th and 21st centuries and its implications in the construction of national and identity narratives is distinguished. The objective is to promote analyzes that humanize the figures of black women in works of art that mark subjectivities. For this, the research makes considerations about memorable works by portraying them; studies aesthetic relationships provided by those who undo stereotypes, through dialectical intersectional analyses. The study is intertwined with contemporary artistic manifestations, with cartography, seminars, dialogues with Brazilian artists, a case study on the "black mother" and an interview with Rosana Paulino. This research defends the revolutionary power of art as a borderline experience.
