Repressão militar no Chile

Abstract in English
The present work analyzes how the Escola Superior de Guerra in Brazil influenced the construction of the Chilean repressive apparatus. From the analysis of the fight against the revolutionary war, it was possible to perceive the National Security Doctrine re-elaborated by the theorists of the school as a foundation in the conspiracy concluded in April 1964, the year of the coup in Brazil, in the same way, in Chile to overthrow the government in September 1973. The neighborhood around Brazil was inserted in the principle of national security and the countries governed by presidents of the left, as Salvador Allende was, represented a threat to the dictatorship. The success of the Brazilian experience in the annihilation of internal enemies was exported to Chile, which was considered to be in an advanced stage of the communist takeover. The influence took place with the guidance of the Chilean army, according to the bibliography consulted, in Brazilian schools and the presence of Brazilian security agents acting directly in Chilean territory against its exiled citizens as a form of training. The theoretical training disseminated by the ESG was one of the main means to legitimize the repressive actions practiced by the security agents, in addition to presenting the ways for the structure of this mechanism.
