Abstract in English
This present study aims at theoretical principles established for the Primary Teacher Instruction for those who were acting as professionals of Education in the Primary Course (first stages of "Ensino Fundamental") in the 1960s in Brazil and ín Cuba. We tried to apprehend in each one of the focused realifes and in the delimited historical context the established lines of direction in order to cope with the needs for offering and adequate instructions for the Primary Teachers at the historical moment experienced by these two countries. Through comparative methodology we tried to understand the proposed theoretical direction and legal documents written down in order to clarify and support the Primary Teacher instruction at moments of economical and political options. By comparing these two realities we could understand the proposed directions for the profile of professionals to be qualified as teachers in the 1960s in Brazil in Cuba. We got to the conclusion that, directly influenced by contextual conditions, the proposal established for the instruction of Teachers in Brazil was the Technical one while Cuba airned at Political Militant Teachers
