The present work aimed to investigate the Social Representations (SR) that undergraduates in Chemistry of a public University in the State of São Paulo have on Inclusive Education. The data was collected in the four campuses of the University that offer Chemistry teachers formation course, investigating the classes of freshman and senior students to discuss the influence of the formation process. The Theory of Social Representations proposed by Moscovici investigates the representations about a particular object in a collective and socially constructed way through dialogs and the media, for example. The structural approach used was proposed by Abric, which suggests the existence of a Central Core (CC) that organizes and gives meaning to representation, being more rigid and resistant to transformations, surrounded by Peripheral Elements, more malleable and, allocating the subjectivities of a social group, tolerant to contradictions. Being an exploratory research with quantitative dimensions, this is a qualitative research. For the constitution of data were applied questionnaires that outlined a profile on the investigated group and used the Free Word Association technique, in which a prompting term is presented to the participants so that they can quickly and naturally evoke other terms that are associated, going through, in a second moment, a process of hierarchizing the evocations followed by a justification about the terms presented. The data went through three analysis processes: prototypical analysis using the Evocation 2005 software, analysis of the maximum similarity tree using the IRAMUTEQ ® software and, finally, the categorization of evocations based on Bardin's work. The analyzes indicate that in the CC of the representations of these future teachers present terms that understand the inclusion as a right of everyone, but they also point to an excluding perspective when inherent aspects to the teaching-learning process are not considered compared to the SR from the prompting term student. The analyzes also suggest that the presence of the Libras subject was sufficient for an influence on the representations of these undergraduates, suggesting that subjects of the teacher formation curriculum are potential for, at least, the beginning of a progressive modification in the SR future teachers. Finally, the importance of research in SR teachers formation is highlighted, understanding that representation and practice cannot be dissonant. Therefore, it is essential that the SR are investigated as well as the possible ways of modifying these representations to ensure an effective practice of teachers in the classroom.
