Abstract in English
This dissertation brings the research developed from a didactic sequence that uses the game Escape Room with a eighth grade of the Middle School from a public school in São Paulo. The proposal, designed according to the bakhtinian perspective of speech genres, aimed the writing of narrative texts, which are part of the game. The analysis of the resulting textual productions highlights a lack of knowledge of cohesive resources in the writing, which is the focus of the work of the teacher in the Portuguese classes. As a methodological procedure, we opted for the action research, based on the ideas of Thiollent (1986). In addition, there are the theoretical contributions about speech genres by Voloshinov (2018), Bakhtin (2016), theoretical assumptions about reading and literacies by Petit (2008), Colomer (2007), Dussel (2009), Rezende (2018), Butlen (2015), Rojo (2009) and Bazerman (2011); the definition of jogos, games and gamification are based on the researches of Huizinga (2000), Santaella et al. (2018), Salen and Zimmerman (2012), Nicholson (2015), Kaap (2012) and Jull (2019) and on the study of the narrative structure of Gancho (2002) and Adam (1997).
