Projeto Bakaru

Abstract in English
In Meruri, Mato Grosso, we are participating in a larger project: The Bakaru Project, which consists of revitalizing our mythology to give back to our society the deepest values of our culture. Within this great project, my choice was to make an analysis of our Education, before and after the contact with the white people, in the sense of rescuing, through the Bakaru, the values of our traditional education or finding a way to balance both teaching methodologies. The dissertation includes a series of four interviews as well as an auto-ethnography.
