Abstract in English
A large set of important references in the study of youth points out that spaces of sociability and creativity are a fundamental indicator for understanding contemporary youth. Youth cultural groups express local relationships and allow a proper reading of the contexts in which young people are inserted. From this perspective, this master's dissertation has as its main objective to describe and analyze the trajectories of some young members of cultural collectives in Indaiatuba - SP. To this end, it presents, in dialogue with the national literature on the subject, reflections on youth, culture and technology; and situates the city of Indaiatuba in social, historical and demographic terms. Inspired by the methodological approaches of intervention research, this study had the participation of twenty-one young organizers and members of cultural collectives from the city of Indaiatuba-SP who were interviewed in six interactive lives on the Twitch streaming platform. These interviews were designed with the participation of viewers on the platform. Based on the methodological references of content analysis, this work approaches the relationship of the young interlocutors of the research with the city in which they live, identifying the circuits that build part of their narratives of belonging in relation to the bonds they establish with their peers, in relationship with its creative and contesting dimension. It is concluded that the relationship between young people and the spaces and institutions of the city is crossed by tensions and the feeling of non-belonging. These conflicts are faced by the narratives of belonging of young people to groups and collectives, which constitute an important experience of participation, identity recognition and affective mobilization. Together, young people create cultural practices that attribute new meanings to city spaces and express desires, complaints and possibilities for transformation.
