Ao longo da década de 2010, a cidade de Belo Horizonte se tornou palco do aparecimento de numerosas movimentações políticas de caráter emancipatório, tendo por eixo a constituição de intervenções urbanas sobre seus espaços públicos. Atuando em meio a uma cidade marcada por uma paisagem profundamente segregada, decorrência de um histórico de desenvolvimento desigual e contraditório de seu tecido urbano, tais coletividades constituíram todo um arcabouço de práticas sócio-espaciais de contestação, diretamente direcionadas a se contrapor a tal cenário. Em meio às singularidades imersas em tais práticas, se encontra um arcabouço comum, fundamentado em confluências de coletividades atuantes em favor de efêmeras insurgências de usos diversificados de suas espacialidades públicas, que se interligam diretamente a formas de reivindicação do Direito à Cidade. Pelo seu caráter singular, concomitantemente efêmero e potencialmente transformador que se atrelam a tais usos, em sua relação para com as funções predominantes destas espacialidades, designam-se aqui suas práticas na qualidade de Desvios do Espaço. Dentre os cenários aqui investigados aonde tais práticas e confluências se materializaram, se encontram, respectivamente: as Praias da Estação, em 2010; a Assembleia Popular Horizontal, em 2013; a renovação do ativismo em favor da mobilidade urbana; a reinvenção do carnaval de rua da cidade. Em seu conjunto, as práticas e confluências estabelecidas em tais cenários apontavam para múltiplas formas de democratizar o deslocamento e o acesso à cidade, assim como permanências e convívios coletivos como formas de uso de seus espaços.

In the course of the 2010 decade, the city of Belo Horizonte became the stage of the emergence of numerous emancipatory political movements, based on the constitution of urban interventions in its public spaces. Acting amidst a city marked with a landscape of profound segregations, as an outcome of an inequal and contradictory historical development of its urban texture, these colectivities formed an understructure of challenging socio-spatial practices, directly driven to counterpose these scenery. Between the singularities of those practices, lies a common understructure, based on the confluencies of colectivities acting in favour of ephemeral insurgencies of diversified uses of its public spaces, directly interlinked with forms of claiming the Right to the City. Because of the singular characteristics of these usages, concomitantly ephemeral and potentially transformative, as well as linked in a challeging relation with the predominant functions of these spaces, these practices are here designated as Deviation of Spaces. Among the scenarios investigated where these practices and confluences materialized, the following were selected for study: the Praias da Estação, in 2010; the Assembleia Popular Horizontal, in 2013; the renewal of the urban mobility activism; the reinvention of the city street carnival. In its conjunct, the practices and confluences established in these scenarios were pointed towards multiple forms of democratizing the fhe collective displacing and the access to the city, as well as the collective permanency and living together, as shapes of the usages of the public spaces by them.
