A inserção dos povos indígenas na construção de políticas culturais pelo Ministério da Cultura durante os dois mandatos do presidente Luiz Inácio da Silva, possibilitou a partilha de conhecimento para a criação de políticas culturais voltadas para esse segmento da diversidade cultural. O acolhimento, o processo de escuta e de acordo, foram favorecidos por debates, análises e proposições do Grupo de Trabalho Indígena. Isso possibilitou atender demandas históricas de reconhecimento e valorização dessas culturas, há muito ausentes das políticas culturais. Ao analisar o modelo de Estado e os códigos existentes na burocracia estabelecida, um obstáculo até então para contemplar os povos indígenas, coube à gestão desse período encontrar brechas e soluções inovadoras, com destaque para o Prêmio Culturas Indígenas - Versão Ângelo Cretã, de 2006. A ação provou que é possível o Estado contemplar políticas de cultura que atingiram 92% dos povos indígenas, criando uma rede de parcerias institucionais comprometidas com as causas indígenas. Ações complementas, com a inclusão nos espaços de representação e participação, garantindo a presença e o aprendizado desses povos na disputa pelos seus direitos, resultaram na criação do Plano Setorial para as Culturas Indígenas. O Estado, no entanto, ainda precisa avançar na perspectiva das cosmopolíticas necessárias para contemplar as relações desses povos com a vida, como mostram como mostram as referências utilizadas nessa dissertação por Isabelle Stengers, Arturo Escobar, Manuela Carneiro da Cunha, Paulo Freire, Milton Santos, Ailton Krenak, Davi Kopenawa.

The insertion of indigenous people in the construction of cultural politics through the Ministry of Culture during the two mandates of president Luiz Inácio da Silva, enabled the sharing of knowledge for creating cultural politics aimed at this segment of cultural diversity. The embrace, the process of listening and agreements, were favored by debates, analysis and propositions of Indigenous Work Group. It made it possible to attend historical demands of recognition and valuing of said cultures, absent from cultural politics since long. By analyzing the state's model and existing codes within established bureaucracy, one obstacle to contemplate indigenous nations, it was due to this period of governance to find loopholes and innovative solutions, with highlights for the Indigenous Cultures Prize - Ângelo Cretã Version, of 2006. This action proved that it is possible for the State to contemplate politics of culture that reached 92% of indigenous nations, creating a networking of institutional partnerships compromised with indigenous causes. Complementary actions, with the inclusion in representation and participation spaces, guaranteeing the presence and the learning of these people in the dispute for their rights, resulted in the creation of the Sectoral Plan for Indigenous Cultures. The State, however, still need to advance in the perspective of necessary cosmopolitics to contemplate the relations of these nations with life, like appointed by the references utilized in this dissertation by Isabelle Stengers, Arturo Escobar, Manuela Carneiro da Cunha, Paulo Freire, Milton Santos, Ailton Krenak, Davi Kopenawa.
