O projeto em questão desdobra-se sobre as práticas e discursos sobre a literatura e a construção da identidade cultural brasileira, para assim entender como essa relação converge em procedimentos constituintes de tipos específicos de representação, narrativa e subjetivação. Examinar-se-ão tanto os projetos literários e políticos, linguísticos e filosóficos, quanto as práticas exercidas para resgatar o sentido científico, humano, libertador da história, formação, identidade e características culturais do Brasil. Para tanto, escolhemos uma obra emblemática de um escritor da Geração de 22, "Cobra Norato", de Raul Bopp. Os poemas da obra produzem efeitos de verdade sobre esse debate a respeito da nossa identidade cultural, à medida que as narrativas também produzem efeitos de representatividade e, ambas, perpassam e reconstituem as formas de vida das populações atingidas. Assim, nessa via de mão dupla, recortamos e procuramos delinear os processos da literatura que constituem essa pesquisa junto aos roteiros do escritor para incorporar lendas indígenas dentro da estética modernista como forma de trabalhar representatividade, narrativa e subjetivação. Isto é, a literatura entendida como instrumento para o diálogo efetivo com a realidade do local onde se encontram as pessoas, além, é claro e sobretudo, o trabalho de tradução dos poemas. A experiência de traduzir "Cobra Norato", cujo herói percorre os caminhos amazônicos, sua fauna e flora, buscou, dessa forma, dialogar com a interpretação e integrar a recepção do público-alvo do texto. Estudos que registraram a Amazônia na passagem dos séculos XIX-XX representam um significativo material documental, antropológico-linguístico - textos carregados e constituídos de uma intencional identidade brasileira - que ampliam o universo dos ideais românticos dos literatos no Brasil e, por meio dos mitos e narrativas, remetem tanto a essas diferentes esferas de verdade quanto à própria formação dessa identidade em discussão, com ressonâncias na obra "Cobra Norato", de Raul Bopp. Couto de Magalhães, Barbosa Rodrigues, Ermanno Stradelli, Brandão de Amorim e outros autores e autoras, por meio dos registros de mitos e narrativas, produção de dicionários e fortuna crítica literária, influenciaram a construção de uma literatura nacional e, somados a este arcabouço literário amazônico, principalmente, apresentamos informações da cultura dos povos originários e, assim, a tradução procura fazer-se presente enquanto relação com estes saberes, ou seja, a valorização da experiência sociocultural do público-alvo.

The project in question unfolds on the practices and discourses about literature and the construction of the Brazilian cultural identity, in order to understand how this relationship converges in procedures that constitute specific types of representation, narrative and subjectivity. Both the literary and political, linguistic and philosophical projects will be examined, as well as the practices exercised to rescue the scientific, human, liberating sense of history, formation, identity and cultural characteristics of Brazil. For that, we chose an emblematic work by a writer from the Generation of 22, "Cobra Norato", by Raul Bopp. The poems of the work produce real effects on this debate regarding our cultural identity, as the narratives also produce effects of representativeness and both permeate and reconstruct the forms of life of the affected populations. Thus, in this two-way communication, we cut and try to outline the processes of literature that constitute this research along the scripts of the writer to incorporate indigenous legends within the modernist aesthetic as a way of working representativeness, narrative and subjectivation. That is, literature understood as an instrument for effective dialogue with the reality of the place where people are, in addition, of course and above all, the work of translating the poems. The experience of translating "Cobra Norato", whose hero travels the Amazonian paths, its fauna and flora, sought, in this way, to dialogue with the interpretation and integrate the reception of the target audience of the text. Studies that recorded the Amazon at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries represent significant documentary, anthropological-linguistic material - texts loaded and constituted by an intentional Brazilian identity - that expand the universe of the romantic ideals of literary people in Brazil and, through myths and narratives, refer both to these different spheres of truth and to the very formation of this identity under discussion, with resonances in the work "Cobra Norato", by Raul Bopp. Couto de Magalhães, Barbosa Rodrigues, Ermanno Stradelli, Brandão de Amorim and other authors, through the registers of myths and narratives, production of dictionaries and literary critical fortune, influenced the construction of national literature and, added to this literary framework mainly from the Amazon, we present information about the culture of the original peoples and, thus, translation seeks to be present as a relationship with this knowledge, that is, the valorization of the socio-cultural experience of the target audience.
